Facial Steam Tabs

You will need 1 cup Bicarbonate of Soda,  1/2 cup Citric Acid, 1 or 2 Tbs of Oil of your choice (I always use Jojoba Oil as it is fabulous for moisturising the face), Silicone Mould.

Mix the dry ingredients together in a bowl, then add your oil.  Just add a little oil at a time until you have the consistency of wet sand.  If you need to use more oil to get this consistency you can.

At this stage you can add dried flower petals, colouring, glitter or whatever you want.

Transfer mixture into your mould and leave to set for 24 hours.  Turn out and put into an airtight container ready to use.

Take a bowl of warm, steaming water and add one tab to get a fabulous steam facial. You can add one or two drops (no more) of essential oils onto the tab before you put it into the water.
